My wife and I had to order a cake last minute for our intimate gender reveal because our family decided to throw a surprise reveal of their own before the one we had planned for Easter weekend — since they didn’t love our original idea. When we called to order, the bakery let us know that with the Easter holiday, it wouldn’t be possible to make a small cake with gender-color filling on such short notice. The best they could offer was two boxed cupcakes with colored frosting, which we happily ordered for less than $4. But to our surprise, when it came time for the reveal, they went above and beyond — surprising us with the most adorable little cake! It was such a thoughtful gesture and really showed how much they care about their customers. And to top it all off, the cake tasted absolutely amazing! This year for our second child, we ordered another one but we got very disappointed. We ordered as soon as we got the result and in 3 days we had a trip to make. They said that the cake would be ready in 2 days and that would be perfect! They said they would call but they didn’t call until the third day. Sweet breat it's their good thing, I ordered cake from here not gonna lie cake was pretty but I ordered a cream cheese frosting they did let me know they didn't make those but they could do cream cheese filling with an extra cost which I agreed to, they also charged extra for strawberries which I also agreed to but honestly I expected more from this place since its a bakery, bread didn't taste like strawberry, it had frozen strawberries (i expected fresh strawberries because I had ordered cakes from people on Facebook and that's what they used wrongly to me that's what i expected) cake didn't had cream cheese filling we couldn't taste it the least. Again cake was pretty was it wasn't good or tasty, such a disappointment.

after so many years i can honestly say this is the best bakery in town. i remember as a kid being brought here with my grandparents to sweetbread for the morning cup of coffee. the pan dulce still taste the same and is always fresh. i would also like to mention the friendly service that is a big part of this establishment. I highly recommend the cheese danish,the rocks(piedritas) and the barras de chocolate. Really anything you pick will be good. Thank you for all the years of service to Laredo.

Delicious variety of bread! Their buttercream frosting is amazing! Brownies, cookies, cake pieces, whole cakes, biscuits, and sweet bread available. Patient and friendly staff! Edit to add: I love their buttered biscuits. However, there's times when they spread the butter thoroughly (which I love) and times when they just put a slab on there and call it good (which I hate). I added a picture of both. I recently tried their canoli (I think that's what it's called), and it was only filled halfway with the cream they use. Their cupcakes are tasty because of the frosting they use, but the bread is rough. The bread of their cupcakes is nothing compared to the bread of their cakes - which is extremely soft. The cake slices they sell individually are soft, too, and I recommend the confetti one. Their specialty donuts are softer than the donuts they sell daily. Give their specialty oreo donut a try! It was great!
